ABOUT US
Anita and Danie proud owners of Bast Cattery started breeding cornish Rex in 2007.
We started with a lilac female we acquired from a cattery pregnant. we also bought a boy from Roeleen Bloemhof who introduced us to showing. within our first year as breeders we bred two litters. both litters were placed to our disappointment as pets. however our stud boy LouJen Rextrodinaire made all our dreams come true by becoming a finalist in 2007 in CFSA cat of the year. he placed all breeds overall 5th entire male.
2008 we introduced new lines and colors with the help of Roeleen of Mistbesque and also with the help of Agnieszka Solomon from Conqueror Cattery.
Our new babies include some stunning cats from yesterday who did show their worth in breeding programs which has gone the extra mile and now have kittens in other countries.
We feel adamant that all kittens must be raised in our beds before they are allowed to join their new families when they are 12 - 14 weeks of age.
we aim to breed happy healthy well socialized kittens from proven bloodlines.
